Status Codes


For an event or action, status codes indicate what has happened. This is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Status.

Typically third parties such as service providers send status codes to OTM. Some examples include Arrived At Delivery Location, En-Route to Delivery Location, and Shipment Cancelled. Status codes are associated with Status Reason Codes and with Event Groups.

Status codes are also used to describe what has happened when performing an action. If OTM is configured for a user to Record Reasons for performing an action, they will be prompted to enter a status code manually or via a Quick Code.

OTM ships with codes set to match EDI-214 standard codes in the PUBLIC domain.
